This ladybug is just too cute.
Beanie was made using Patrons – Big Baby 4ply
So it is thin and soft, the black edging is some sort of cotton but I’m not sure what.
Her face and spots (which took the longest time to sew on) are made of felt and are simply sewn on.
This hat is newborn size-ish
I have another beanie made up in a larger size waiting in my sewing pile.
This beanie I made for my partner – Slade, it’s not quite his style, but I did manage to get a friend of mine to model it for me.
This beanie was difficult in comparison to what I’ve done in the past, as in you are working with two active loops for most of the hat, but it comes out looking very affective/attractive.
To make this beanie the correct size I had to increase by 12 chains/stitches as my partner has a very large head.
I used the prescribed hooks.
The colourful yarn used is Mode Vera – Bouvardia 70% acrylic, 30% wool.
The grey yarn used has no brand or name but it is 100% acrylic, I got it in a value pack and it had no distinct branding.

These baby booties are simply adorable, I whipped them up last night
These booties are nice and fast to whip up as they are small and simple
This sweet little pair of booties will soon be shipped out to my future niece.
I used a 3.5mm crochet hook
The yarn brand is Bella Baby – Layette which is comprised of 80% viscose and 20% wool
